Personal Biography

Noran is a clinical child psychologist. She earned her bachelor's degree in psychology from Ain-shams University (2015) and her MSc. In children's psychological disorders in Cardiff University, UK (2021).

Noran has been working with children between the ages of 2-14 for over 8 years. She received her training and worked with children in various settings such as an early intervention center, a preschool setting, and clinics. She works with a range of childhood problems such as emotional and behavioral difficulties, and neurodevelopmental disorders. Such disorders and difficulties include: Depression, anxiety disorders, OCD, ADHD, Autism spectrum disorder, trauma, greif, anger, agression, social skills, and family dynamics.

In her work with children she integrates psychodynamic approaches, attachment-based therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy while maintaining a holisitc view that considers all aspects of child development. She also uses techniques from expressive therapies such as art therapy, play therapy, and story telling, as she personally believes that through different forms of art it is easier to access and tackle difficult emotions and process painful experiences and memories.

In addition to her passion towards guiding children through their healing and growth journey, she's equally passionate about working with their parents to help them understand their children's emotional world and how to respond to their emotional needs. That's why she got trained and is now registered as a circle of security parenting program facilitator. Through this program, she tries to provide a safe environment for parents who are ready to navigate their own parental values and struggles, as well as how their own childhood experiences may stand in their way of becoming the parent they want and can be.
