Personal Biography
Mony is a Licensed Counseling Psychologist with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals and couples through life's emotional challenges. She specializes in trauma-informed therapy, as well as anxiety, depression, grief, relational issues, and supporting adults with autism and ADHD.
In her practice, Mony uses Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), an attachment-based approach that helps individuals and couples recognize emotional patterns, build stronger connections, find deeper emotional balance, and heal from traumatic experiences. For couples therapy, she also incorporates the Gottman Method, grounded in decades of research on what makes relationships succeed.
For individual therapy, her approach integrates EFT with Internal Family Systems (IFS), somatic therapy, and principles from humanistic therapy and neuroscience. This allows her to support clients in understanding their emotional experiences, working with how those experiences are held in the body, and exploring different parts of the self with curiosity and compassion.
Her work is grounded in fostering a safe and compassionate space where clients can explore their experiences, understand their triggers, and develop healthier ways to respond to life's difficulties, building authentic relationships and greater emotional resilience.
Certified in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, EFT, and Internal Family Systems.
