Personal Biography
Lolita Mansour hold a Masters of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology from the American University in Cairo. She has 14 years experience working with youth on social and emotional wellbeing, as well as experience with preventive social and emotional wellbeing programs and interventions for individual and group.
She has experience counseling adolescent and young adults with anxiety, PTSD, self-worth issues, family and relationship issues as well as existential questions and crisis. She also worked with women with PTSD, depression and anxiety.
Lolita has been exposed and trained to many different therapeutic approaches and techniques within her degree, the courses she attends and in her practice which include CBT, DBT, couple therapy, as well as grief and loss therapy techniques.
Lolita has an eclectic approach to her therapeutic philosophy, using different methods and tools. Her work is strength-based and client centered, using an existential approach that, depending on the clients needs, using different modalities and tools from CBT, DBT, Gestalt therapy as well as guided therapeutic imagery techniques and principles.
