Personal Biography

Alia el meteni is a counseling psychologist, she earned her bachelor degree in Psychology at The American university in cairo and her Master’s degree in counseling psychology from Webster University, the Netherlands.

Alia’s counseling experience started by interning and working in Behman psychiatric hospital supporting in- and out-patients with disorders such as depression, bipolar, schizophrenia and personality disorders as well as offering counseling to clients with mood disorders, personality disorders and Trauma in the Netherlands.

Alia uses an integrative approach, using DBT, CBT, Narrative therapy, schema therapy and client centered therapy to help clients overcome and change their thought patterns, regulate their emotions, resolve problems, acquire skills and coping strategies to tolerate and manage distress and difficult situations.
